TL;DR

Call4Life is a US SMS marketing platform — two-way texting, bulk campaigns, automation, and AI SMS Autopilot. You buy US local (10DLC) numbers — toll-free coming soon — upload contacts, and launch. We handle DNC checks, quiet hours, and opt-outs automatically. AI voice agents, IVR broadcasts, and a live-agent dialer are in preview and coming soon.

Getting started

What is Call4Life, exactly?
A US-focused SMS marketing platform — two-way texting, bulk campaigns, drip automation, and AI SMS Autopilot, all from one account. Three calling products — AI voice agents, broadcast/IVR, and a live-agent dialer — are in preview and coming soon.
Is voice calling available today?
Not yet. SMS marketing is live now. AI voice agents, broadcast/IVR, and the live-agent dialer are in preview — join the waitlist and we'll let you know the moment they launch.
What can I do with SMS today?
Send bulk campaigns and drip sequences, hold two-way conversations in a shared inbox, schedule recurring sends, segment contacts, and let AI SMS Autopilot reply 24/7 — all A2P 10DLC compliant.
What's the difference between AI SMS Autopilot and the AI voice agents (coming soon)?
AI SMS Autopilot is live today: it reads incoming texts and replies using your knowledge base. AI voice agents — which hold spoken phone conversations — are in preview and coming soon.
How fast can I launch my first campaign?
Same day, usually. 10DLC brand registration takes 1–3 days for SMS; once your account is verified you can buy a number and start sending.

AI voice agents · Coming soon

AI voice calling is in preview and not yet available. The answers below describe how it will work at launch. Join the waitlist.

Will the AI agents really sound natural?
In our testing most callers can't tell. They handle interruptions, pauses, filler words, and regional phrasing. You'll be able to pick a voice or clone your own.
Can they handle objections and questions?
Yes. You upload a knowledge base (FAQs, pricing, policies) and the agent uses it live. For anything out of scope, it transfers to a human with full context.
How does transfer to a human work?
You set conditions ("qualified lead", "billing issue", "asks for manager"). The agent warm-transfers with a short summary so your rep walks in knowing what's up.
What happens when nobody answers?
You choose: leave a voicemail (pre-recorded or AI-generated), schedule a retry, or send a follow-up SMS. All automatic.
Are calls recorded and transcribed?
Yes — every call, with an AI summary of outcomes, sentiment, and next steps. Recording disclosure plays automatically in two-party states.
Do they work with mobile and landlines?
Both. Carrier-level answer detection routes mobiles and landlines differently for reliability.

Broadcast & IVR · Coming soon

Voice broadcast and IVR are in preview and not yet available. The answers below describe how they will work at launch. Join the waitlist.

How will IVR (press-1) work?
Record or upload a message with prompts like "press 1 to confirm, press 2 to reschedule". Each keypress triggers an action — send SMS, update CRM, transfer, etc.
What can press-1 options do?
Confirm, reschedule, cancel, opt-in, opt-out, request callback, transfer to a live rep, enter a menu branch, or trigger a webhook.
Can I schedule broadcasts?
Yes. Pick a send window (timezone-aware by contact), start/end dates, pacing, and quiet-hour rules. We automatically respect state quiet hours.
Do you offer voicemail drop?
Yes. If the call rolls to voicemail, we drop a pre-recorded message with no ringback to the recipient.

Live agent dialer · Coming soon

The live-agent dialer is in preview and not yet available. The answers below describe how it will work at launch. Join the waitlist.

What is a power dialer?
It calls the next lead the instant the current call ends. No dialing, no lookups, no dead time. Managers can watch the queue burn down live.
What is local presence dialing?
The dialer picks an outbound number matching the recipient's area code. Local numbers get answered ~2× more often than unfamiliar long-distance.
Are calls recorded?
Yes, with disposition logging. Two-party-consent states get automatic disclosure.
What manager tools are included?
Live leaderboards, whisper (coach the agent only), monitor (silent listen-in), and barge (join the call). All with audit trails.

SMS & phone numbers

What is 10DLC?
10-Digit Long Code — carrier-approved local numbers that can send A2P SMS in the US. Required for compliance. We walk you through brand/campaign registration.
When should I use toll-free instead?
Toll-free numbers are coming soon. They're best for support lines or when you don't want a local area code — throughput is high and verification is simpler, but setup takes 5–10 business days. Until they launch, local 10DLC numbers cover SMS marketing.
How do I buy a number?
From the dashboard — search by area code, pick a local number, and it's yours in seconds for $5/mo. Toll-free numbers are coming soon.
What is AI SMS Autopilot?
The AI reads incoming SMS and replies 24/7 using your knowledge base — for FAQs, booking, lead qualification, and order updates. You can set thresholds that escalate to a human.
Do unused SMS credits roll over?
Yes — 100% rollover on active plans.

Pricing & plans

What's included in each plan?
SMS plans are Starter ($49 / 1,000 credits), Business ($229 / 5,000 credits + AI SMS Autopilot), and Enterprise ($999 / 25,000 credits). All include two-way SMS, contact lists, and 10DLC registration. Business and Enterprise add automations and advanced analytics; Enterprise adds CRM webhooks and a dedicated account manager.
What happens if I go over my allowance?
You pay the per-unit overage rate on your plan — SMS $0.04, AI SMS $0.02/credit. You can cap spend or pause campaigns from the dashboard.
Can I switch plans?
Anytime — pro-rated. Credits follow you into the new plan.
What are the 10DLC fees?
Carriers charge a one-time $50–$100 brand/campaign registration. Plus ~$0.003–$0.005 per SMS in carrier surcharges, passed through at cost.
How does DNC billing work?
50,000 free DNC checks per month on paid plans, then $0.005 each. We cache for 31 days so you aren't paying to check the same number twice.
Is pay-as-you-go really an option?
Yes. No monthly minimum. SMS from $0.05, AI SMS Autopilot $0.02/credit. Unused credits never expire while your account is active.
How much will voice calling cost?
Voice calling is in preview and priced separately — see the indicative, market-benchmarked figures on our pricing page. Final rates will be confirmed before launch.

Compliance

How do you protect us from TCPA violations?
We check every number against the national DNC registry, relevant state registries, and a curated list of 600,000+ known TCPA litigators. Quiet hours are enforced by recipient timezone. Two-party consent states get automatic recording disclosure.
What are calling hours by state?
Federal TCPA is 8 AM–9 PM local time. Some states are stricter (FL/OK: 8 AM–8 PM; NJ/MD: frequency caps). We enforce the strictest rule automatically.
How is opt-out handled?
We honor STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, and voice "remove me" instantly. Suppression is account-wide and permanent.
Is AI calling legal?
Yes, when you have prior express consent and abide by TCPA disclosures. AI voice calling is coming soon; when it launches, our defaults will make compliance the easy path.
What about known TCPA litigators?
We check and block against a 600K+ record list updated daily. A single blocked call can save you a $1,500 lawsuit.
Are there extra state regulations?
Yes — FL, OK, MD, NJ, and WA all have rules beyond federal TCPA. We keep the rule set current; you don't have to.
What about two-party recording consent?
In two-party states, an automated disclosure plays at the start of every recorded call. You can customize the wording.
Is 10DLC required?
Yes, for any A2P SMS traffic to US mobile numbers. We handle brand and campaign registration for you.
